Authentic period French Louis XV Fauteuil , c. 1760-1780. A beautiful intricately carved and detailed walnut frame primitively constructed with original irregular wooden peg joinery. 
The chair has been impeccably reupholstered in Scalamandre Tigre silk velvet on the seat cushion and arm pads, complemented with a premium white linen back. The seat deck has been updated with new coil springs and jute webbing.
